Weston Juneteenth Heritage Jubilee

Join us on June 19, 2021, at the City of Weston Downtown City Park for the Weston Juneteenth Heritage Jubilee, A spoken word, historical lecture, and musical program that showcases the contributions and influence of Weston Missouri’s Black Population. Black Americans were instrumental in the building of Missouri. The program focuses on Weston citizens, once slaves to property owners, community organizers, and lawyers. Weston Missouri is home to one of the few endowed cemeteries where slaves and freemen could be given their final rite in dignity.

The event is open to the public, held in the City of Weston Downtown City Park. The first 100 people will enjoy a BBQ at no charge. The event is funded through local businesses and citizens of Weston.
