Music in the American Wild: Missouri Music at 200
August 10, 2021 marks the state of Missouri’s bicentennial. To honor and reflect on this occasion, the American Wild Ensemble has commissioned six composers to write new works inspired by Missouri history, culture, and geography. We look forward to sharing this collaborative program, including poetry, history, and guest speakers along with our new music, in a series of live and virtual performances around the state in August 2021.
