Fayette Festival of the Arts

The Fayette Festival of the Arts (FFOTA), scheduled for July 31, 2021, is the culminating summer celebration for the Fayette area, with activities taking place in and around the historic town square and on the campus of Central Methodist University. The Festival features musical groups, two art shows (youth and adult), the Peacemakers Quilt Show, craft vendors, refreshments, children’s activities, a cake contest, and exhibits. The PAWS (Pet Adoption and Welfare Services) exhibit of pets available for adoption is always popular with the youngsters as is the exhibit of emergency vehicles. Linn Memorial United Methodist Church provides a spectacular backdrop for the annual Peacemakers Quilt Show which will feature The Missouri State Bicentennial Quilt. The block representing Howard County was pieced by Peacemaker Jo Rohr. The show will also include a display of 40 to 50 Quilts of Valor.  Admission to the show is $5 and proceeds go to the local food pantry and to support the Quilts of Valor project.
